Aside from the annual Shaw Festival of Boxing, there haven’t been any professional boxing cards in the once boxing capitol of Canada, Toronto, since 2006. However, though the glory days of the famed Maple Leaf Gardens are long gone for fight fans in the T-Dot, there is light for the sport of boxing in the country’s largest city, courtesy of AKA Inc., and the slump of LIVE fights for the general public will finally end on December 5th when former Canadian Heavyweight Champ “Big” Ray Olubowale climbs back over the ropes and into the ring for the “Big” Main Event at the Hungarian House located at 840 St. Claire Ave. West... And on hand ringside to watch the revamped former Canadian Champ make his return, on a card titled “Revival”, will be none other than the former World Heavyweight Champion himself, boxing legend Lennox Lewis!

AKA Inc. (Atlas Karma Associated), have stated that they intend to bring quality fights back to Canada’s biggest city with a bang, and on a more permanent basis, starting with this show on December 5th, according to Armand Teodorescu from the Atlas Boxing Club. This will hopefully be the first of many shows coming to Toronto, and this card itself looks very solid and it undoubtedly will be a wild night of fights for the fans in attendance. There will be quite a bit of local flare on display, including a few former amateur champions officially making the jump to the big show in Richard Retti, Junior “The Show” Dan and Horace Hunter; Lightweight James Carpio will jump right back into the fire after his recent 1st round KO in Hamilton, and the little lady with the huge heart, Priscilla Trompowsky will be making her official Toronto hometown debut in the Women’s Co-Main Event fight...

Doors open at the Hungarian House at 840 St. Claire Avenue West at 7:00pm, and the fights start at 8:00pm...
