Most fighters party or have a drink when its down time. I think right now everybody is frustrated including Tyson. The balls in Tysons hands now. His father did everything he could do for him. He has to make a choice to either go out and try and make something happen on the road or sit back and wait and hope to get lucky

Too late, he's too old to be taught the discipline that he needs to compete at a world class level. He'll continue to fight bum after bum in Halifax and make the claim that he can't get the financial backing. In a few years he'll retire and preach the rest of his life how he never got the opportunity he thinks he deserved. It's all about image for Tyson. He's happy being the "Prince of Hali" and knows deep down that he's not dedicated enough to compete at the next level.

Sad to see him pissing away his dads money. He probably has no idea how hard it is to work a real job. I laugh every time I see Tyson, he's always talking about his training camp and getting ready for the next big fight and being stronger and faster and all the rest of the BS he thinks people want to hear. I use to believe it all 5 years ago, but it's basically a running joke between us. It's no wonder he has no sponsor when everyone in Hali knows he's out thugging and drinking every night. Just wasted talent. Real shame.

He's sat back and waited for the better part of a decade. He's never stopped the partying lifestyle and never will. He will tell you otherwise but anyone that spends a little time in his circles can set you straight on that lie. He's more concerned with maintaing his "Prince of Hali" persona then chasing down a world title and proving himself on the road.

Look what he's done since the Banal fight... nothing apart from his typical tune up fight with bum after bum. He was in great shape and he let it slip away because he thought he deserved some R & R. The Banal fight showed the world that he has the talent, but now looking back at what he's done since then we can see that the desire and drive is what is missing in him.

I really thought he'd turned the corner and stopped all the bullshitt, but if hes back to his old ways again then he might as well just take whatever fight he can get.

Sometimes a little bit of success early in life is the worst thing that can happen to somebody, Tyson is a good case study of that.

Its really disappointing to me, could be a while before there's any pro fights in Halifax.

tyson is an ENTERTAINER not a boxer, remember that. he is better off trying to puruse a rap career becuae it is more congruent with who he is and his lifestyle. if he was a boxer and a fighter and a warrior he would step up, he doesn't he would be better and being a rapper or a dancer an actor or some other thing like that. that's all there is too it.

Whats the deal with Tyson Cave's break out year? He hasn't fought anyone of decent calibre since his loss last year to AJ Banal and he hasn't even had the dedication to maintain his conditioning. Enough with all the hype and talk Caveman, either put it up on the road or retire the show pony with his padded record. You know you can put him on a card in Montreal, you just don't want to put him up against anyone talented. Enough already.

Word is Willie Casey offered a rematch but Cave said there was nothing in it for him. Sounds like redemption isn't high on the list either for this wannabe gangster.
