Middleweight Jason Naugler toyed with opponent Rodrigues Moungo knocking him down within the first ten seconds of the fight on his way to an eventual stoppage at 2:47 of the 6th round as boxing returned to Halifax Nova Scotia Saturday night. The victory moves Naugler to 15-5-1 and sets up a September 30th showdown between him and Canadian champ Larry Sharpe. Moungo drops his 6th straight and falls to 12-11. In other action Tyson Cave made his pro debut a successful one as the super-bantamweight scored a 60-54, 59-55, 59-55 decision over Saul Gutierrez handing the Mexican his 3rd successive loss on Canadian soil.
